Howard Prairie Resort is a hidden jewel of a resort located a half hour east of Ashland. Known for next to no mosquitoes (and most never experience any), great RV & tent camping location, and boasts having the largest inland marina in Oregon, where we sell fishing supplies and licenses. We have a great restaurant, laundromat, sell wood, propane, gasoline for vehicles and boats at dockside, and diesel starting this season. Many recreational opportunities abound like great trout and bass fishing, water skiing, sailing (the Rogue Yacht Club has their home base here). We really are a destination location, with some families returning up to 50 years! Just far enough off the beaten path, but reasonably close to wonderful Ashland.
