Mouthwatering authentic Greek food--try the flaming cheese!
"There were no dancers, bouzouki players or broken plates at Ashland's newest restaurant, Blue — Greek on Granite, last Friday night, but the dining room was as lively and noisy as a production number from 'Zorba the Greek.' "- Mail Tribune

We've eaten at Blue Greek on Granite numerous times. The food and service are wonderful. My favorite appetizers are the Saganaki and the Calamari. For the main course, I love the Lamb Shank and the Rack of Lamb. Some of my other favorites are the Moussaka, the Pork Shoulder and the Lamb Pastitsio. For desert I adore the Galaktoboureko. Wow!!!! Service is excellent, friendly and attentive.
Some of my family members are gluten and dairy intolerant. They always have been more than willing to accommodate us to prepare the food with these dietary restrictions.
They like to use organic and local ingredients with good effect. The food tastes wonderful and the meat is very tender and almost falls off the bone. The horta served on the side of many of the dishes was so wonderful we asked for seconds and sometimes thirds.
There is a good reason why the Medford Mail Tribune and the Ashland Daily Tidings gave this restaurant excellent reviews. There is nothing to match this anywhere in the region.
The decor is light and pleasant and adds to the nice atmosphere. There is a nice wine list featuring ethnic, regional and traditional selections.
I highly recommend this restaurant and hope you have as much fun as we have.
